Charles Wesley said: When you set yourself on fire, people love to come and see you burn. John the Baptist said: One is coming that is greater than I and he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire.

Lord set me on fire. Set us on fire. Let us burn with the same intensity that you do so that when you come with fire in your eyes and when you come as a consuming fire we are burning at the same temperature. Fire is the only element that changes everything into itself. No wonder his ministers are a flame of fire. No wonder his eyes are burning fire. No wonder he is a consuming fire. Let us burn Lord. Let us burn with passion for Jesus. Let us burn with compassion for the lost. Let us burn with holy fire and hunger that consumes us as we follow you with our whole being.

Burning at the altar, we are ignited. We are blazing embers ready to be blown into the dry grass and set everyone around us on fire. He comes like the golden lamp stand illuminating the Word bringing revelation of the King. He comes burning on the altar beneath the mercy seat. Fire that never goes out and he brings us into deep worship and intimacy. He brings us into the presence of the Lord and sets our hearts on fire. The burning glory of the Lord

When you start to burn there is something insatiable that takes place. You are thirsty for the living water and the more you drink the more you want. You are hungry for more and the more you are filled the more you long for him. You are wrecked. You are ruined. Nothing satisfies because there is always more. This is eternal life…that you know him…that you know the Son and you know the Father.

This is the reason Holy Spirit has come and remains... to reveal him to us and to reveal to us his Kingdom which has no end. He loves us with everlasting love and he is unsearchable yet he has given us Holy Spirit who searches even the depths of God.

Our heart is that we would always be desperate for more of Jesus… to know Holy Spirit more…to know the love of the Father. Our heart is that we would become radical in worship, radical in ministry, radical in our lifestyles and be totally consumed in his love and his presence.

Our heart is that we would all live the presence driven life. That we would see the invisible, hear the inaudible and do the impossible as we step off the map of human existence as the new creation…new species he has birthed and follow him with our whole hearts as we go where only one man has gone before…our Lord and King Jesus.. .and bring as many people as he gives us one step closer to Jesus.

I am praying that you will hunger and thirst for more every day and in your desperation you will move into deeper revelation of the knowledge of him and the beauty of his holiness. Let’s us let him set us on fire and others will come to watch us burn…and he will use us to set the world on fire. Revival Fire…let it come and let your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
