At every meeting of the Gate DC we are looking to follow Holy Spirit's direction. Like Abraham's servant bringing Rebekah to Isaac, Holy Spirit takes us deeper into our relationship with Jesus. At every turn in our lives, at every adventure, He is looking for an opportunity to bring us into the dance that changes us. As we are changed we are filled with a new expectation to know Jesus better, face to face and breath to breath.
As our expectation to see our beloved increases, that love for His presence increases. His presence not only flows to us, it flows out from us to the rest of the meeting. Soon the meeting is filled with His presence and we experience Him in a way we haven’t before. One meeting we are dancing a wild dance the world has never seen and the next moment we’re leaning on the arms of our beloved.
He’s a creative God. So while we look for His presence, we press into the moment to see what He wants to release this time. Will He take us into the heavens and release visions of the crystal sea and His throne room, or take us deep into His heart of intercession for the lost? Will those who dance with flags in the meeting open up the meeting to a new experience, or will the word come in a way that changes us forever?
Whenever we meet we are looking for more than a touch of His presence. We are looking to experience Him in a way that will change our lives forever. On the one hand we are satisfied because we are His children and we know Him, but on the other hand every time we experience Him it drives us to want to know Him more. When the Gate DC meets, let's look for the Dancing Hand of God and follow Him as He takes us into the deep expanse and revelation of how He wants us to know Him.
